Lokkero (6+2 persons) is a sturdy log cottage situated in a superb location overlooking Lake Saimaa near Liiansaari Island. The large terrace is perfect for admiring Lake Saimaa in all seasons. Eco-friendly geothermal heating ensures a comfortable stay even in wintertime. The cottage's specialty is its small separate wooden sauna that was built in an old barn in the 1970s - it used to be the home sauna of your hostess Outi.

Built in 2006, this cottage has 117 m² of space and a fine atmosphere for 8 guests. The cottage is on two floors. In addition to a living room and kitchen there are 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, an electric sauna and a shower. In terms of furnishings and equipment the cottage represents our normal high standards with all modern conveniences, from washing machine to toaster. The distance to the Nuottakallio cottage is 500 metres.

The cottage's rocky shore is suitable especially for grownups. Steps lead down to the lake, so for persons with restricted mobility we recommend the Syväjärvi cottage. Lokkero is suitable for guests with allergies - on Lake Saimaa pets are allowed only in our "Kalastajan torppa" cottages.

Services and Activities:
Fishing and boating are the most popular activities among guests at Lokkero. Salmon, perch and pike can all be caught in the nearby waters. It is easy to get from the cottage to the prehistoric rock paintings at Astuvansalmi by boat. A local company can provide canoes for rent.
