Kalastajan torppa I and II are identical twins on Lake Saimaa, close to Partakoski in Savitaipale. Situated 1 kilometre from the mainland on the island of Lapinsalo, the cottages are accessible by boat in summertime and by ice road in wintertime. These fisherman's cottages are ideal for fishing enthusiasts, but also for those who like the idea of spending their holiday on a remote island. A small pond can be found in the centre of the island.

Kalastajan torppa I and II are identical inside except for the colours selected for them: Torppa I at the tip of the peninsula has a blue theme, while Torppa II at the base of the peninsula has a green theme. Each cottage has 62 square metres of living space comprising a kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms, an eco-WC, a wood sauna and a shower. The cottages are situated just 60 metres apart, but in such a way that they do not disturb each other. These two cottages are ideal also for larger groups of up to 12 persons.

Both cottages have a rocky shore, so guests should have prior experience of using an outboard motor. Pets are welcome.

Services and activities:
In addition to fishing, it is also possible to enjoy boating extensively from these fisherman's cottages. A marked boating channel passes between Lapinsalo and Kuivasensaari.
